Harris Hospital Announces Employee of the Quarter

NEWPORT, Ark. (September 22, 2009) - Travis Carter was chosen as the Harris Hospital Employee of the Quarter recipient for July, August and September 2009.  Carter is an RN who has worked in the CCU for the past two years.

Fonda Miller, Nurse Manager, Med/Surg & CCU, commented, “Travis is a very caring and knowledgeable RN.  He is the kind of employee that you would like to clone.  He never complains, works hard, helps whenever possible, he’s friendly, compassionate, and loved by the patients he cares for.  We are proud of him for wanting to be a part of our team and congratulate him on being chosen for this award.”
 
Judy Haney, Director of Nursing, presented Carter with a certificate of achievement, $100 check, 3 months of free lunches and a special “Employee of the Quarter” parking place.  His name will also be included as one of the four competitors for the Harris Hospital Employee of the Year Award.
