Harris Hospital Announces Employee of the Quarter

NEWPORT, Ark. (July 28, 2009) - Sandy Higgins was chosen as the Harris Hospital Employee of the Quarter recipient for April, May and June 2009. Higgins works in the Materials Management Department and has been employed by the hospital since November 2, 2007.

Margaret Gates, Human Resources Director, stated that “I have never worked with anyone who is so eager to please everyone that she comes in contact with. There is no task too big for her. Our employees notice that she is always in a good mood and will always go the extra mile to get the job done. She is very dependable and a real joy to work with. She truly deserves this award.”

Gates presented Higgins with a certificate of achievement, $100 check, 3 months of free lunches and a special “Employee of the Quarter” parking place. Her name will also be included as one of the four competitors for the Harris Hospital Employee of the Year Award.
