Harris Hospital Announces Employee of the Quarter
NEWPORT, Ark. (January 19, 2010) - Cara Freeman was chosen as the Harris Hospital Employee of the Quarter recipient for January, February and March 2010. Freeman is a pharmacy tech and has been employed at the hospital for 15 years.
One of the comments on the nomination form was, “I have witnessed her helping so many visitors and patients, no matter how busy she was.” Andrew Foster, Director of Pharmacy, added, “Cara has been superior in her job performance, always striving to learn how to be better at what she does.” Also, hospital administration received a “thank-you” letter because Cara let a lady who was in pain go in front of her. From these comments, it’s easy to understand why she was chosen for this award.
Freeman is married, and she and her husband Wayne live in Oil Trough. They have three grown sons.
Chip Camp, hospital CEO, presented Freeman with a certificate of achievement, $100 check, 3 months of free lunches and a special “Employee of the Quarter” parking place. Her name will also be included as one of the four competitors for the Harris Hospital Employee of the Year Award.
