Harris Hospital Recognizes 420 Years of Employee Service

Newport, AR (March 2010) - Recently Harris Hospital held an Employee Service Award Banquet to honor those employees for service to the hospital. The banquet was held at Arkansas State University – Newport on February 22nd. Chip Camp, CEO, welcomed those attending and Andrew Foster, Pharmacy Director, gave the invocation.

After the meal, Chip Camp and Dr. Mufiz Chauhan, 2009 Board of Trustees Chairman, presented awards to those who were honored. Special awards went to Angie Ivie, RN, Employee of the Year; Amy Barber, RN, Patient Choice Award Winner; Kevin Decker, Clinical Manager of the Year; and Sherri Meatte, Non Clinical Manager of the Year.

Dr. Jabez Jackson and Ms. Doris Borders, 2008 Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, respectively, were recognized for their dedication and service to Harris Hospital.
