Harris Senior Care Hosts Geriatric Healthcare Program

Newport, AR (May 10, 2010) - Harris Hospital Senior Care hosted its 1st Annual Summer Session “Issues in Geriatric Healthcare” providing free continuing education hours for area healthcare professionals, in the community room of Harris Hospital, May 19th. We were excited to have attendees from Batesville, Walnut Ridge, Jonesboro, Paragould, Searcy, McCrory, Cabot, Mountain View, Hoxie and Newport. Topics included personality disorders, stress management, Diabetes in the Elderly, Ethics, and Legal Issues in Geriatric healthcare.
