Hospice Topic of Senior Circle Lunch-N-Learn

Mandi Hart, RN, Community Educator, for Legacy Hospital of North Arkansas, was the speaker at the recent Senior Circle Lunch-N-Learn at Harris Hospital. She explained that Legacy Hospital was established to provide home care for terminally ill patients. Their goal is to help meet patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs as well as the needs of their families.

Hospice affirms life and focuses on the quality of life. Hospice exists to provide support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable illnesses so that they might live as comfortable as possible.
